RS Summer Social reminder

Our New Brighton Ward Relief Society - SUMMER SOCIAL - will be held on Thursday - July 28, 2011, at 7 p.m., at the church (Relief Society room).  We hope you will join us for some delicious salads, sweet treats and a wonderful opportunity to get know the sisters in our ward a little better. RS Lesson for July 24, 2011

A huge thank you to Melissa M. for substituting in Relief Society last Sunday! I wasn't there, but I heard from many sources that she gave a fabulous lesson!   We are excited to have two newly called teachers in Relief Society - Lindsay A. and Rachel D.,  both who were sustained at church this past Sunday and look forward to hearing from them soon as well.

Our lesson for this sunday is based on the talk from the April 2011 General Conference - The Holy Temple - A Beacon to the World, by our prophet President Thomas S. Monson.

July 13, 2011 - (no playgroup at splashpark)

Due to the local Mckenzie Towne Stampede breakfast festivities - there will be no playgroup held tomorrow at the splashpark.

Relief Society lesson for July 17, 2011

New Brighton Ward RS Summer Social - July 28, 2011

Mark your calendars for our July Relief Society meeting.  We will be holding a Summer Social on Thursday, July 28, 2011.  More details and information to follow.  Hope to see you there!

New Brighton Ward Campout - August 26-27, 2011

The New Brighton Ward has a campout planned on August 26th (After 5 p.m.) to August 27 (through Afternoon) in High River.  Breakfast and dinner will be provided by the ward!

In order for Ward leaders to properly plan and book this event, please email Becky G. the following information as soon as possible.

1.  Family name:
2.  If you are planning to attend.
3.  If attending #of adults, # of kids
4.  If you are attending - are planning to bring an RV or trailer (there are a limited number of spots a nd hook-ups for those vehicles), or a tent.

The ward was hoping to have all of the info by June 30th, however, if you have not responded and wish to attend, please let a member of the Relief Society Presidency know as soon as possible either by email/phone or on Sunday.
